{"id":1077,"date":"2025-08-28T17:54:49","date_gmt":"2025-08-28T17:54:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bookingwithoverture.com\/blog\/?p=1077"},"modified":"2025-09-01T16:59:29","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T16:59:29","slug":"inviting-artists-to-the-overture-app","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bookingwithoverture.com\/blog\/inviting-artists-to-the-overture-app\/","title":{"rendered":"Inviting Artists to the Overture App"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Overture Artist App is available on iOS, Android, and the web, giving artists secure access to their bookings, documents, schedules, and financial information anytime, anywhere.<\/p>\n<p>This article explains how to invite your artists to use the app and what to expect from the onboarding process.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s important to point out that all other methods that your Artists currently use to access their booking data such as ICS feeds and the current external user accounts will still remain exactly as they are.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It\u2019s also important to know that all the settings you currently have selected for your external users will be respected by the app.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"send-the-app-invite\">Send the App Invite<\/h3>\n<p>1. In your Overture account, go to Settings &gt; Users.<br \/>\n2. Locate any user listed as an External User. You\u2019ll now see an Invite button next to their name.<br \/>\n3. The Artist Doesn\u2019t Have the App Installed<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After accepting the invitation, they\u2019ll be prompted to set a password. Their email address to log will be the same as the address that received the invite link.<\/li>\n<li>The artist can then view their bookings directly in the web version of the app, or visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to download it.<\/li>\n<li>Once logged in, they will see all relevant bookings, documents, and schedules based on the access settings you configured in their External User profile.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. The Artist Has the App Installed but Isn\u2019t Set Up<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Artist will still receive the invite by email and when clicking the Accept Invitation button will be directed to the web view to create a password.<\/li>\n<li>Upon opening the app they can login with their email address and password just created.<\/li>\n<li>After logging in, they\u2019ll have access to their bookings as per your configured permissions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>3.
