They\u2019re perfect for communicating last-minute changes, reminders, or confirmations instantly, and are a key part of how Overture streamlines communication for teams using our <span class=\"s1\"><b>Booking Agent Software<\/b><\/span>, and <span class=\"s1\"><b>Talent Booking Software<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n<h3>Before You Begin<\/h3>\n<p>To successfully send and receive push notifications, a few conditions must be met:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The artist must be set up as an External User in Overture.<\/li>\n<li>To check, go to Settings &gt; Users and check that the artist is listed as an External User.<\/li>\n<li>The External User must be connected to the App (this is managed in Settings &gt; Users).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the Artist App is connected to the External User.\u2028See here for a full guide for setting up Artists on the App:<br \/>\nhttps:\/\/docs.overturehq.com\/knowledge-base\/inviting-artists-to-the-overture-app\/<\/li>\n<li>Notifications must be enabled on the artist\u2019s mobile device.
