We’re excited to share a round of updates we’ve just rolled out across Overture — focused on making your experience faster, clearer, and easier to navigate. From major style improvements to faster loading times, here’s everything you need to know about the latest release.

A Fresh Look and Feel

We’ve refreshed the overall design with cleaner iconography and a modern typeface that’s easier on the eyes and improves readability across the app. Whether you’re drafting a contract, browsing bookings, or reviewing reports, things just feel smoother and easier to use.

Updated Pages for a Better Workflow

Log Payment Page: We’ve polished the interface and refined the layout to make logging payments more intuitive and visually clean.

Create Contract & Create Invoice: These pages now benefit from improved readability and better flow, so you can move through the process faster with fewer clicks.

External Pages: Your artists, promoters, and external users will notice a smoother, more professional interface when interacting with Overture — a big win for client-facing touch points.

Easier-to-Read Data, Everywhere

• Tabular Reports: Many of our reports now present data in a simplified tabular format, making it easier to scan and act on the information that matters.
• Status & Event Type Labels: We’ve introduced shape variations in the Overture labels to improve visibility and make it easier to distinguish them at a glance.

Tags in the Bookings List

You asked, we listened — tags are now visible directly in the bookings list, making it easier to filter and identify bookings without drilling down.
You’ll now notice a new checkbox in the sidebar, simply check that option to view or hide the tags in the bookings list.

New Calendar Display Option (Still in Beta!)

We’ve added a new setting that gives you more control over how timed bookings and events appear in your calendar:

• Enabled: Bookings and events with set times display with coloured discs (based on status or event type), with titles truncated to a single line.
• Disabled: The default full-width background styling remains.

This feature is completely optional, so feel free to toggle it on or off in your settings and see what suits your style best, we’d love your feedback as it continues to evolve.

Performance Boosts

• Booking Page Speed: We’ve completely re-written the backend code behind the booking page, resulting in an 80% improvement in loading speed! Your day-to-day workflows just got a lot snappier.
• Calendar View Performance: We’re currently working on optimizing the calendar as well — look out for a noticeable speed boost in the next few weeks.

Loading Improvements

Longer loading screens are now more informative and visually consistent — whether you’re switching between bookings or loading your calendar, you’ll see loading boxes that help orient you while content loads.
