One of the earliest feature requests we received for Overture was Paypal integration, allowing invoices to be sent along with a link to paypal to facilitate quick and rapid payment. So we’ve built and deployed the paypal feature. Here’s how it works:
You can create contracts and invoices for any of the bookings you log on Overture:
There is now a tickbox on the invoice page which allows you to request payment by paypal.
Obviously, you’ll need to tick the paypal checkbox.
When you publish the invoice, two new messages are placed in your Overture outbox ready to be checked and sent.
The paypal request contains a link.
When your client receives this email, they can click on the link and are taken to a page summarizing the amount and offering them a link through to paypal.
It’s as simple as that. Payment will be requested in the currency you specify in your account settings. If you want to start requesting paypal payments from your customers, please ensure you have added the registered email address of your paypal account to your Overture settings (available to admin users):
